Definition of SARBOX

The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 often referred to as Sarbox or SOX set new or enhanced standards for all U.S. public company boards, management and public accounting firms.

The act introduced enhanced legislation, regulation and responsibilities for the affected companies.4
